1. Reservation Confirmation
A reservation is confirmed once full payment has been received or when you have received a written booking confirmation by email or WhatsApp.
Please inform us of any food allergies or other special requirements when making your reservation.
2. Participant Responsibility
Participation in our husky safaris is at your own risk.
By joining the activity, you acknowledge that sled dog adventures involve inherent risks, including falls, injuries, or equipment damage.
All participants must follow the instructions of the guides at all times.
Driver of husky sled is responsible for any damages caused to huskies or the sled during the excursion. Self-liability for any accident if caused for drivers own action and not following safety instructions is 2000 euro per accident.
3. Insurance Requirement
All guests must ensure they have valid travel and accident insurance covering possible injuries or health issues.
PahkalaRanch is not responsible for accidents, health-related problems, or lost property during the activity.
4. Health and Physical Requirements
Our husky safaris require basic fitness, balance and the ability to follow instructions. Participants must be able to:
Control their body safely on varying terrain
Understand and follow guide instructions
Behave calmly around animals
Treat the dogs respectfully at all times
There is a weight limit of 100 kg per person. If exceeded, this must be reported in advance so we can arrange a suitable dog team.
If you have any medical conditions, injuries, mobility limitations, or neuropsychiatric challenges that may affect safety or communication, you must inform us at least 24 hours before the activity.
If this information is not provided on time, participation may be refused for safety reasons, and no refund will be issued if cancellation occurs on-site.
5. Weather Conditions
Our safaris depend on weather, trail conditions, and the wellbeing of our dogs.
We reserve the right to:
Cancel
Postpone
Shorten
Change the route
in the event of unsafe conditions.
If cancellation is necessary, we will offer a new time or a refund when possible.
6. Equipment
Participants must dress appropriately for winter conditions.
7. Animal Welfare
The wellbeing of our dogs is our highest priority.
All guests must treat the dogs with care and respect.
Unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the activity without a refund.

Refund Policy:
90 % refund → if cancelled at least 30 days before the activity
50 % refund → if cancelled less than 30 days before the activity
No refund → if cancelled less than 7 days before the activity
No refund for no-shows (failure to attend)
